Redeemer Movie Seminar meets on the first Saturday night of the month to view a quality movie and discuss the film’s social, moral, ethical, and spiritual implications. All are invited to attend this comfortable gathering, with popcorn and drinks provided. Since the Seminar began meeting in 2002, we have enjoyed more than 145 movies together! Here are just a few examples of the topics we’ve considered:

  • An aging former freedom fighter in South Africa whose dream is to learn to read and write…
  • A New York City violin teacher who takes her Harlem students all the way to Carnegie Hall…
  • An orphaned boy who lives inside a large clock in Paris…
  • A 14th-century scholar who fought to translate the Bible from Latin into English…

The stories of inspiring characters like these entertain, enlighten, and inform us at the Redeemer Movie Seminar.
