Our Music Ministry

Redeemer has a long history of emphasis on music in worship and the use of blended music, using both traditional hymns and anthems along with more contemporary praise music. Our services use organ and piano as well as guitar—and occasionally bass guitar, electric guitar, accordion, trumpet, and various sorts of drums. Our choir is a small close-knit group who enjoy each other’s fellowship and support. They meet to practice in our music director’s home each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., and they practice in the church at 2:30pm until shortly before the Sunday service begins (at 4:00 p.m.). Pat Farra has served faithfully as our Music Director since 2005. She earned her music degree in Organ Performance from the University of Houston and taught music at Episcopal High School for many years.
